Dave Childers, Instructor - North Coast Aikikai, Dojo-Cho

David started his Aikido practice in 1983 under Sensei L.Vecchio - Shihan (7th dan) Chief instructor of Aikido of Cleveland. He also served as an instructor at Aikido of Cleveland and at the Lakeland Aikido Club. He is a skilled practitioner of the art and has practiced around the country including many seminars with Sensei Y. Yamada Shihan (8th dan) head of the United States Aikido Federation, along with many members of the USAF technical committee and instructors from Hombu Dojo (Headquaters) in Tokyo.

 

Currently he holds the rank of 6th dan Shidoin through the United States Aikido Federation, (USAF)
